Q. At what age should colorectal cancer screening start?
A. The United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends screening for colorectal cancer beginning at the age of 50. People with family and personal history of colorectal cancer or people who have ulcerative colitis or Crohn colitis should begin screening at a younger age and may need to be tested more frequently.
